old news equals paraguay

so olivia and i going to paraguay is kind of old news but i will just tell you about it any ways, ta? well i have been without peanut for hmmm about 4 months now!! and apparently paraguay is the only place to get it. i will tell you this much, that kind of thing can kill a girl. so i asked the "pops" if olivia and i could take the bus there and told him if he needed to think about that is totally chill too. cause i mean this is brasil people!! not the safest place for two pretty american girls to take a 4 hour bus drive all alone to paraguay. so instead of thinking about it he calls our driver to take us the next day (yep folks i have a driver)! so a four hour drive later we were there. finally. we were about to jump out of our shoes with excitement. victoria secret and peanut butter who could ask for more? as we walk into "china shopping" (thats the name not sure why though) and find that the prices are just the same as back home if not more expensive our hearts start to break a little. that is until we found the food and little pieces of our soul started to come back. after we went home bought apples galore and ate half a can of jif peanut butter while watching dirty dancing 2. not going to lie it was a good night.

what a fun filled day

well all, guess what i did yesterday?? yep thats right olivia and i walked our lazy bums down to the centro to buy our dresses for the pops wedding in rio (yep yep that right!! olivia is going to rio with me and the fam!!) got it all on sale too (proud of me grams & mom?). of course on our way there we just had to stop for an ice cream. well hmmm not really an ice, more of a fruit pop cycle kind of thing. that is healthy, right? i have no idea what flavor i got because olivia and i are trying this new thing, where when we go out to eat and when we don't know what to get we ask the the people working in the store what their faves are and get that. claro, on our way back we ran into olivia's counselor (who from across a busy street could tell we were foreign. even when we were dressed up in brasilian clothing) and asked us to stop and have another ice cream. lucky olivia shot the shop keeper a "sshhhh" and he didn't saying anything like "oh, back again menias huh?" just winked ;)
depois (after), we went home and got ready (by getting ready i mean we hopped in the shower, got out, and got dressed. not really getting ready up to brasilian standards) for a fabulous night with rotary. which happened to turn out to be not so fabulous. since we had to sit and listen to the rotarians gives speeches for a little over two hours, while i was dying of an over filled bladder and olivia dying of a not so full stomach. but positive thinking here folks! we did make a new friend and got free food---always a plus right?
