THE WEDDING... we left for the wedding on christmas day. the wedding took place in teresopolis. which is way up in the mountains two hours away from rio. and let me tell you. it is beautiful. and that is even understatement. it is green all over. not just green green but a rich green. filled with trees and vines and fog. beautiful. we stayed in a country club. yeah i know super chic. here is link to see pictures of it. http://www.teresopoliscountryclub.com.br/. no joke it was just as beautiful. the next day some women arrived to do our hair at 7:30 am, however, olivia, lenora, and i didn't get up till 10:30... ooopps. haha our hair looked good though. well once we got it done. naturally we were a tad bit late for the wedding and had to pull off a very lady like run in hills down to the wedding. and it wasn't easy. we had to walk down steep stone stairs with nothing to hold on too. i had to take off my shoes. the ceremony took place in front of a lake. i teared up a bit. we all got to throw rice too. after though... well... we went up and had a party! everyone was dancing and having fun. it lasted till the sun went down. keep in mind that the wedding started at 12 am.
NEW YEARS.... in brasil it is a tradition to wear white on new years. because white means peace so if you wear while the new year will bring peace or something of that sort. but did i have a white dress? no. cause i have no clothes here. we went shopping. but sadly didn't not find anything till we stopped at a store down the street and around the corner from my house. liv and i both found dropped dead gorgeous dresses. that my dad kindly paid for. depios, my dad, ju ju bee, a oltra julia, olivia and i went over to laura's house for the count down. laura is Julia's best friend and is is just as much as a little sister to me as the julia is. it was nice we all sat down and relaxed. talking, eating, drinking (i drank coke. don't worry), and listening to music. we all got together in a circle and counted down with champagne. i will admit i felt a bit silly with my champagne glass filled with coke but, but it was all good. we clinged glasses and said feliz ano nova, saude, with a hug. DEPIOS... olivia and i went to real party. festa do radio clube!! tons of people. loud music. and an open bar. who could ask for more? jk jk haha sadly my dad bought us normal tickets and not the vip. but would that stop me? caitlynne jan reier? i think not!! we snuck. or should i say i snuck. olivia tried. and failed. haha but i got in :P but she eventually get in though. i was a little disappointed though. here it isn't tradition to kiss someone on new years at the count down. but not worry a certain friend of mine kiss plenty for the both of us. when the sun started to come up i pulled caiti. i was tired and i wanted to go home. so i quickly found this certain friend who had been missing for awhile flagged down a cab and went home to drink chocolate milk and some pop corn.
but as for now my hands are getting tired and olivia wants to finish her blog so i will finish later. tchau beijoss
p.s.
i will put pics up later!
